Our first goal is to save as many of Gods Creation as we
can while we are on borrowed time here on Earth. If we can even save 1 out of 3 we will have accomplished our goal. Our second
goal is to educate owners of horses on what it takes for the care for an animal. Which this will prevent a lot of neglect
in the future. There are two types of Neglect I see all the time. One is ignorance just not knowing the maintenance or how
to take care of lameness when they become lame. Two is just pure Neglect can't afford to feed them so they don't and of course
if you can't feed them you can't worm them so they starve to death.
I have had a horse turned over that was a big
time jumper at one time in his life that was 17.3 500lbs under weight, one with 6 fractures in her knee where the bones
were degenerating, one with worms so bad that the worms were 6-8 inches long and the horse was starving to death because the
worms were eating everything he took in.
And when one of our rescues our adopted out we check the
residence it will be kept at as well as make sure they are educated enough on the care and maintance for that rescue.
And in our contract it states that if they can no longer take care of the rescue they are to turn the rescue back over to
us.
